VIN code "H" on '82 '83 birds

Engine: 305 in both!
Transmission: 200c / Th700r4
Axle/Gears: 3:73 / 3.42
VIN code "H" on '82 '83 birds
Hi, I'm new to this board. I have an "83 MSE Trans Am. The 8th digit of my VIN is "H", what is this supposed to be? The head numbers, intake manifold, exhaust, and carb all point to HO. What's the deal? Thanks, in advance.

I thought the LG4 engine did NOT come with the better exhaust manifolds, better heads, and the aluminum intake. Cause these are all the same as my old "84 L69 I used to have.

The heads are the exact same - the 416's were used on both LG4 and L69.
