Has anyone ever seen the 88-92 Trans Am wheel other than the black, Charcoal, or Gold colors?

The reason I ask is the parts catalog lists Red, White, for 1988...

John, the wheels were indeed available in those various colors. I have seen both the red and white wheels on Trans Ams before. One of the old (R&T?) road test manuals had a photo of a red T/A on the front with the red PW7 wheels on it. I once saw an '88 1LE T/A here in AR that had the white ones on it.

After 1986, the gold color was not available on any model but the GTA until 1991, when the Trans Am could have them as well on both coupes and convertibles. Hope this helps.

THat is probably why they only appear to have red & White one year (1988)

Learn something new...

I saw one of the ones with white wheels, looked pretty good I thought. I wanted to duplicate it with my Firebird, but then it got wrecked and that ended that idea.

I think the White would look good, its a neutral color, like the gray and black, Gold for that matter is a neutral... The red does not do it for me tho...

My 1988 Trans Am came with white crosslaced wheels originally.

I am just putting it back together ... and yes with the white crosslaced wheels.

Mark.

I bought a set of the red rims--but I painted them black.
