an 1990 IROC-Z with 80,000 miles.. interior and exterior SUPER clean?
5.0L V8 with T-tops..
I checked one out the other and test drove it. The engine runs strong and pulls very hard.
What do you guys think?
Do you think I'll be able to talk them down?

Yep. It's a 5.0L TPI automatic. Has power everything.. I'm still debating whether to pick this car up, or find a 91-92 Z/28.
Is there anything a 91-92 Z28 had that an IROC didn't?

Sounds nice. I guess it's up to you. Do you like the color etc. The only problem with the 91/92 Z28's is if you find one with the 350, it's not gonna have ttops (I think). Also, for me, you just can't beat a super clean IROC-Z.

Actually I belive there were no changes to the engine, cam, exhaust, or any other engine component from 1990 - 1992.
I belive they all use the same components. So if you find a 1991 or 1992 Z28 similarly equiped there should not be a speed difference.
The nice thing about 1990 is its low Production number, the last year for the "IROC-Z' and oddly enough there were no 1990 Camaros produced in the 1990 physical year.
