I did not know that they came with Pins. GM seems to have given up the practice of drilling holes in panels back in the late 70's early 80's due to rust issues.

Since the nose emblem is in the Urithane Facia, and I have seen several locations for the proper placement of the emblem I would assume that it does not have a pin. However If your worried, and they look identical except for the pin, I would go with the one without it, as no one would be the wiser, and it would cover any hole if indeed there is one.

In the past I already bought a used GTA nose emblem from eBay... And it had a pin in the back of the emblem! But on the nose of my car, it doesn't had any hole to put it in. So I was wondering since yesterday I saw a brand new nose emblem without the pin...

remove the pin, and use double side emblem and trim adhesive tape.

You can use which ever style emblem you like, but for correctness, there are certain styles to be used on certain model years.

1987-1990 GTAs used the metal front emblem with the adhesive backing paired with the mounting pin attached for use with a barrel nut. The mounting hole will have to be drilled in a new bumper cover because the regular Trans Am model used a decal instead of an emblem.

The 1991 and 1992 GTAs used the soft "rubberized" emblems for the nose instead of the metal ones; these emblems are adhesive backed only. This style of emblem was supposedly less likely to be damaged by road debris.

All other emblems are the same style for 1987-1992.
