looking to buy a late model Camaro..

looking to buy a Camaro..
I'm looking to buy a Camaro, 91 or 92 Z28, or possibly an 89 IROC.
My 88 was wrecked last month and I am itching for another.
Ideally, I want something with low, low miles.. preferably less then 30K.
It has to be hard-top with a 5.7L, the rest is irrelevant.
I guess I am just looking for some helpful tips and things to look for when buying a third gen, especially to verify the mileage.
BTW, how easy/hard is it to rollback our odometers?
There is one I am seriously considering buying.
It is a 92 Z28 5.7L hard-top in purple haze with 15,375 miles, grey leather, factory louvers, Bose system.
I have not gone to see it in person but from the picture below it looks pretty good.
The guy is asking 16,000 US for the car. Keep in mind this car is in Canada where most third gens have fallen due to our inclement weather.
I believe the car is worth a little more here than the same car would be in the US.
Please post your comments and any tips you may have for me, I appreciate them all. Thanks.

The big question here is whether or not the car is a Heritage Edition or not...because that could be justification for a price like that...
92 Z28 w/ 15k miles - NADA Book Value (Excellent Condtion): $7,037
92 Z28 Heritage Edition w/15k miles -NADA Value (ex. Con.): $15,950

It is a Z28.
It is very hard to find low mileage Camaros in Canada and when you do come across them they are very, very expensive.
In the US you have a lot more choices. In comparison, there are over 1000 Camaros for sale in the US and less than 100 in Canada!
Hit the link below and do a search for 82-92 Camaros, select "all of Ontario" as the region and take a look at the prices.

Yea it is amazing that a $180 option from the factory practically doubles the net worth of your car...but hey, im not complaining!!

Look at the 93 Camaro Pace Car....
A $995 option included a special paint scheme, painted rims, decals and a special interior. Today, a 93 Z28 is worth around $3500-$5000 depending on miles. The Pace Car is valued at $15k-$25k. That's just the way it goes.

Just check for normal things you would in a car..... rust, leaks, smells, stains, overall condition, etc. Check to see the common problem of valve stem seals leaking on startup, if they do leak and the seller didn't inform you about it, this can usually knock a hefty amount off of the price of the car, because most uninformed people think "oh, it's a POS" if it burns oil, when all-in-all, it's more of an annoyance than a problem.
Don't buy the car if it has JUST ONE problem that bothers you during the test drive, because it will only bother you 10,000x worse when you own the car if you don't get it fixed.
Also, if the odometer has been rolled back, there should be little silver lines between the numbers. Carfax can also help you with odometer rollback, but it's not 100% accurate.
