Help! getting ready to paint, I don't know if my bumper is correct,
did the '83 have the same rear bumper as an '82? with the wide indention in the center where the emblem goes? or did the rear bumper indention conform to the shape of the emblem like an '89?

Did the '83 bumper emblem have the chevy sign on the right, say like an '89 Thanks.

 

The 82-84 Z28 rear bumper cover is the same, with the wide indent.....and 83 was the first year the Z28 had the silver bowtie next to it.

Back in '83, it was about the only exterior detail you could find to distinguish if the car was an 82 or 83!
