Hello all,
Is there anyway I can tell what month my car was made. I have a 1989 Firebird.
I got all the info from Pontiac History Service, the invoice states the followin:
invoice 02-02.-89
shipped 02-02-89
How can the invoice date and shipped date be the same, unless this car was already made and sitting in the lot ???
The window sticker or invoice doesnt tell me the month is was actually made. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

If you can find the build sheet inside the car that should tell you. They were commonly in the front seat bottom cushions by the late 80's. Reach under the seat and feel for a peice of paper. You will problably have to remove the seat to get the build sheet without damaging it.
If you open the driver's side door there will be two information decals. One of them will have the build month and year.
