Hmm. I'm going to go look at a 1989 Firebird Formula, and I was just curious as to the rarity of it.

to me, it just seems well optioned, but I was just curious cause it has all the good options.

its a 1989 Formula, 350 TPI, 3.27 disk + posi rear, 16inch factory rims, gray interior, power windows + mirrors + locks (may be more, not sure) T-Tops, tilt, cruise, a/c. and its black.

Now, the rarity isn't something I care about, just curious because it has all the good options. It would have to be the HO L98 because of the 3.27 rear, right? Its got a busted winshield, and the paint's fading, and I haven't actually seen it in person yet. But the price is right, and I'll try to get a VIN # for you guys.

Regular production L98s were not considered HO. The engine was the same L98 as the rest, but you have an upgraded performance package. On the Camaro, this would be the G92 performance package which included dual catalytic converters and such. I don't know if the same is true for Firebirds.
