I just sold my 86 TA. I was wondering if it is rare. Never seen any bird like it. It was Black with gold turbo style wheels, Gold Emblems, Aero spoiler. It had the LG4 305, due to short production of the HO(only 26) and you couldn't get the TPI w/5spd. Mine has the T5spd,3.23posi,WS6 suspension.
The interior is tan and blue w/cloth Recaro racing buckets. No Ttops, no power anything, just looks like a stripper w/racing in mind. How rare is a Recaro TA. I sold it with 95K,great condition for $4200. Man I wish I had it but I got an 89 G92 iroc w/ only 54K and it hell of alot faster.

 

Pretty rare I think. I've only ever seen 2 other besides yours
