I just did the VIN decoder on this site and it had my 86 as a Sports Coupe, Z28 but its not a Z28. Ive even had people tell me that my car has to be a Z28 without the ground effects, decals & rims. It has the LG4 305, T-tops, Auto, and Dolby Extended Sound stereo (which got yanked for a Clarion.) I figure this car isnt rare, but hey it might.

Until 87, the 5th VIN # for the model, is the same for the Z28 and the SC. U have the SC!! From 87-92 the VIN # is the same for all the models.
