WS6??? How can you tell?
I have two subject cars, an '84 Trans am, and an '86 Trans am. Is there anyway to tell, besides ride quality, if in fact the previous owners of these cars before myself had ordered the WS6 package? Special numbers, etc.? If you need the vins I could provide them if it would help. Please respond...

No they aren't. Some have WS6, others have the Level II F41 suspension. All of them have the 'Performance Suspension' tag on the passenger side dash.
Look for RPO code WS6 on the the RPO sheet, located in your center console lid. The 86, if it's WS6, should have come with 16" flat Hi-Tech turbo wheels, they are the same ones 87 Formulas have, and look like larger versions of the wheels used on a lot of other Pontiacs of the time.
