RPO---R6P??
RPO---R6P??
I was told that this option is basically the same one as G92 but with a couple differences. If that's true than I have finally figured my TA totally out
So does anyone here know for sure. Thanks in advance cause I really wanna figure my car out
EDIT---and no I'm not trying to find out how rare it is or anything

First used in 1991, the R6P Performance Enhancement Group option consisted of the KC4 oil cooler, the N10 dual converter exhaust, and the performance axle ratio..... whereas the G92 Performance Axle Ratio package included equipment specified for sanctioned, off-road competition: the aforementioned performance axle ratio, plus an aluminum prop shaft, specific fuel tank with high wall reservoirs, specific fuel sender, wide-strainer fuel pump, and specific 12" vented front disc brakes. This option package was available on all Formula and Trans Am models, but not the GTA.
Available on the 5.0L V8s and standard on the 5.7L, the R6P package was required on T/A models when the G92 option was ordered.
Complete uses were as follows:
** Required on 5.0L TPI/5-speed on Formula & GTA, optional on Trans Am 5.0L/5-speed.
** Required on 5.7L TPI on Formula, Trans Am, and GTA.
Hope this helps more than confuses further.....

Just the answer I was hoping to get frankie
My car as that option and explains why it has a 3.42 rear but isn't a G92 car.
I suppose thats why I have the 140mph speedo and 5500rpm redline also.
Thank you
