does anyone know how many 84 Recaro Edition (L69) T/A's where made??........i dont have the rpo sheet so dose anyone know what gears the auto had, or any other features it came with?

Somewhere in some post I read a number of 1,321 '84 Recaro L69 T/A's were produced, but I don't know if this is accurate. Their rear gears were 3.73's, 700R4 auto trans, they had the W62 gfx, paint was black /w/ gold graphics, interior was beige/black, some had the functional cold air cowl, it's late that's all I can think of. Someone else will probably know the rest.

yea mine came with the cold air cowl....the graphics are gone......what about suspension? i know im too cheap to get the rpo's for it lol.....is that alot made? that seems like a pretty low production number...which is cool

 

Well, my '84 Recaro has these RPO's: J65, and WY6. The J65 is the rear discs, and I read somewhere that the WY6 is the suspension, whether or not it's desirable I have no idea. It doesn't come up on the RPO decoder. That's really all I can find related to suspension. I know there were 1500 TTA's produced in '89, so 1,321 seems favorable if it is indeed an accurate number.

I have heard the 1321 figure too. I don't know if it helps, but my 1982 Recaro T/A has WS6 suspension. There was also a WS7 suspension which was exactly like WS6 except it had drum brakes on the rear axle instead of 4-wheel disc.
