why does the tech data have listed for 89 two 350 TPI's with autos and different horsepower ratings and also different rear gear ratios?

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

Because the 89 L98 TPI cars can get dual cats, or single cat, depending on the options. The single cat cars have a 2.77 rear end, while the dual cat cars have the G92 options, and a 3.27 rear end. The dual cat exhaust gives 10 more horsepower.

The same is on the 89 305 5-speed cars. G92 option gives the dual cats and 3.45 rear end, rated at 10 more HP.

thanks for clearing that up. shouldn't it list something like that about the dual cats? it just appears that one auto would have 10 more hp than another auto and for no real apparent reason except for lower gears.
