how many built

My car is a 1984 Trans Am with automatic tranny and 305 L69 engine. Just wondering how many were built that year.

In 1984 there were 55,374 Trans Ams built.
18,037 had the auto transmission with L69 engine.

And the rest of the 30 thousand or so TAs were also L69s. Some were stick but a few had a rare quazi-auto tranny. Very rare, indeed.

Mike in AZ is correct with the exception of one slip of the finger 4,277 not 4,227.
