I'm having the hardest time finding a new air cleaner top for my 84 TA. I found a L69 air cleaner with the dual inlets at a JY today for 25. But no-one has any 82-84 TA Air Cleaners. I know I can just cut a hole in the top of mine but I'd rather get one that was stock. Besides the air cleaner I picked up today still has the 5.0 Litre H.O. sticker on it. Does anyone know of any aftermarket air cleanor lids? I got the TA book from classic industries, the next generation book from year one and neither of them have the air cleanor top. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Either keep searching junkyards or fabricate something... All of those parts have been discontinued for several years.

 

I searched high and low throughout 3 counties here in NC no junkyards had one. Went back to the guy I bought the car from and he forgot that he had it sitting around. He said sorry gave me the old air cleaner top then sold me a Pete Jackson Gear drive for 20. Guess all my searching worked out for the best.
