How are you all doing? I am new to this board so please forgive me if I put this in the wrong section, but I thought since this is the history and restoration section you guys would know what I should look for and what to ask. Anyway, I saw an add for a 1988 GTA and this is what the ad says:
1988 Pontiac GTA, complete fuel injection system w/computer & distributor, $450
I am not sure whether the motor of tranny is the but I am thinking so since it says complete Fuel Inj Sys. Anyway, I am going to call the dude tomorrow about it, is there anything I should ask him. Any info or advice would be awesome. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I have grown up around 3rd gen's so I know what to look for for th emost part. But if everything is in pretty good working condition, would it be worth it? I mean if the car is in great shape but is missing the motor and tranny, good or bad deal? Thanks for all the info and advice!

I'm assuming the TPI is for sale, not the car.

That would be my guess too. I think it is just the TPI off the car. That actually isn't a bad price for a TPI.
