Valve Covers?
Valve Covers?
I noticed on my supposed LG4 on the valve covers is the sticker GM Goodwrench 305 (they're faded i couldn't see them before and i cleaned up the engine the other day) did all stock LG4s come with this sticker on the valve covers?? Please help me out thanks a lot guys.
Goodwrench motors are crate motors. Generally they're the cheap replacement engines. Either your motors been changed out and replaced with a goodwrench motor, or the valve covers have been changed.
Could this be why engine seems stronger then the average LG4. It still has the stock manifold and Rochester on it, are the cams bigger in goodwrench 305s? Because i know the LG4 got a peanut cam. Thanks for your help again
The goodwrench 305 should be a direct replacement for the LG4. They're marketed as replacement engines by GM. They're just high enough quality to be sold by GM. Goodwrench motors are the ones you typically see in JCwhitney catalogs, etc.
