Comparsion

I'm trying to figure out what type of third gen that I want to buy. Is their a site that compares different years/models of Camaros with other years/models?

I know for certain I want a Camaro, but I'm uncertain whether or not I want an IROC, z28, or RS. It's definitely going to be out of these three models. I'm leaning towards either an IROC or a z28, but I would settle for an RS.

How much of a difference is their in the 88-90 IROCs and the 91-92 z28s and 91-92 RS'? These are the different years I'm looking at for the models.

I definitely want a v8 and TPI. I would prefer the bigger engine (5.7L), but again I would settle for the 305 in the RS. Is the z28s spoiler interchangeable with the small lip spoiler like on the RS?

I don't plan on drag racing this car, it would be a street warrior if anything.

Thanks.

First, if you want TPI then an RS is out because I don't think they ever made them. Second, I'd go for a 92 5.7L Z28, if you can't find one you like, then a 5.7L 90 IROC-Z......

Heres a pic of my 92 Z-28. The dash, suspension, and styling are better in my opinion than the 90 and older.

Actually, you could get the tpi engines (305 5-speed and 350 auto) with the 91 and 92 B4C (police package) RS camaro. Most of those have high miles and if you want a low miles, non service one, you are going to have to pay some big $$$!!

I prefer the 91 and 92 z28's but also like the 88-90 IROC's also!! Go for what you really like, if you can afford it.

Here is a pic of my 92 z28:

Hope this helps!!!

First off, those are two really nice z28s!

I'm leaning towards the 92 z. I've been for a while actually, they have everything I want straight from the box, although I do have one question. Can you change the spoiler to the small lip RS spoiler? I like those better myself, they look more sleek.

I guess now I just have to keep my eyes peeled and wait for the right one to turn up.

Thanks for the opinions.
