ok, i was in a junk yard and i see a i think 82 camaro, that say 500 something on the door, im preatty sure its a pace car, well the speedo was about the only thing left of the car. it was an 85 mph speedo, but 2 needles, both connected, on white one red, and on one side of the speedo was mph, the other side showed kms. the tach was different too, i have never seen anything like it. i was wondering if this part is rare or not? thanks for the help

Where do you live? I want to see if I could restore that thing! Was it in bad shape?

------------------
I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames,
T-56 almost ready to go in, TPI swap coming up

Wifes new car:

95Z28, AT, leather, T-tops bone stock for now.

future mods:
header to tailpipe replacement and a cold air intake. Then I am just going to leave it alone

thanks jim, only been in 85-up thirdgens. super83z dude unless this guy has the engine in his shed i would say its not worth it, the front end is gone, firewall back is all left, no wheels, who knows about the tranny, interior is tore appart, there is the rear locking storage compartment left that i might try for. the interior is light blue, yuck. but the body seemed ok, it would cost so money to restore, but if your interested i can give you the guys number, it in southen ohio, he parts all camaros and firebirds, but has a ****ty selection, mostly v6 cars, it looks like hes had it a while
