1990 Formula Stock wheel size

ok i have a question, on the 90 formulas what was the wheel size that came on those cars or what were the options i guess, cause when i bought my car it came with 15in firbird wheels that i thought were original, but the other day i got to lookin at the sticker inside the door and it says the tire size for this car from factory was a 245/50/16, so i was just curious to see why it would say that.

Stock Formula wheels look similar to a 15" version, but are obviously 16", and have fake allen head screws around the perimeter of the wheel. Here is the only pic I currently have of my Formula with the stock wheels.

awww, i see, thanks, man i wander why my car wouldnt have the stock rims on it, the stock ones look better than the 15 inch version, but i guess its hard to tell where and what a car has been through in ten years.

Its quite possible the the rims were stolen, OR they were swapped out by an owner for an aftermarket set and sold. When he went to sell the car instead of paying for the more expensive set they used the lesser 15" rims...
