Zipper or Velcro type T-Top Bag for 1988GTA

Hello all,

It's been a long time since I posted here, and I've recently got the 3rd gen bug again...

For a 1988 GTA Trans Am:

Would the T-Top bag in the rear hatch area be the Zipper type or the Velcro type? I ask because there are some that appear to be in NEW condition on eBay and I want to make sure I pick the right version.

Car: 87 Formula T-Top, 87 Formula HT

Engine: 5.1L TPI, 5.0L TPI

Transmission: 700R4, M5

Axle/Gears: Sag 3.73, B&W 3.45

THe Velcro was on the early cars, like 82-84, not sure when they changed it but the later cars from about 85 + were zipper.

I think I like the zipper better as it holds them in better.

Thanks for the replies guys, you confirmed what I was thinking - Zipper=Newer.
