Window rubber

Where can you get new trim rubber pieces for the door and windows? I really need the pieces on either side of the windows since the window ratteling drives me bonkers!

sorry, but that won't stop your rattling. expect to pay a high price through gm as well; i want to say i payed roughly 70 a side, but that came with the black plastic piece that runs across the top.

if your windows are rattling, from normal use, you need to tighten the guides up. take it to a reputable window shop if you don't want to do it. it's not that difficult; but be sure not to break that black plastic part. it can get expensive.

Ouch, I was afraid of that. The ratteling is from most of the upper weather stripping in the door panel allowing it to jiggle back and forth. MAybe I'll get lucky and find a good door panel at the junk yard...

well, i don't see how it holds the window in place, it more or less rests against it causing a tight seal that keeps water out.

this is the main reason it's so easy to break into our cars because there is no real seal or ridge holding the window or what you refer to as allowing it to move.

i think you just need to make some adjustments inside the door. but, i could be wrong. good luck.
