Today when i was removing my headliner this metal object fell from my headliner. It is silver and looks like an ignition key, it has the square head with a fork on the end with has the shape like this l_l. on it says gm code key. does anyone know what this may be. I asked my friends and they dont have the slightest clue. please let me know what this is.

It's the key that you stick in the ALDL plug so you can read the trouble codes that blink from the "service engine soon" light.
