83 Daytona Aero Wheels, what are they worth?
Found a guy who might be selling some Aero rims with the caps included, I'm going to go check them out after work...just wondering what these cost. I know the Turbocast rims go for high prices on Ebay, but I almost like these rims better. If he want's a reasonable amount I'll probably buy them. Are these more/less than the turbocast rims??

They are worth absolutely nothing! He should pay you for taking them off his hands. Then you'll have enough cash to send them to me on UPS.

well, I talked to the guy and I got the wheels from him for $300. Not a bad deal considering I have seen the caps alone go for that or more

Good Deal!
This makes me ponder....
What is the rarest 3rd Gen Rim?

I'm thinking of a different color scheme though...I've been thinking about having the caps be natural aluminum, and having the thick inner edge of the rim in black with the lettering in gold, and the outter most lip in gold.... I also thought about having the hubcap black, but that might be too much black. I'd like something to break the lines between the black tire and rim, that is why I was thinking gold around the outter edge. I've seen some firebirds with the turbocast rims with alluminum hubcaps and it looks pretty good. I was also thinking about about having the outter edge of the rim natural aluminum polished a bit, and having the lettering black, with a black hubcap. No matter what, I'm going to have to strip the paint on the rims so I can get a better visual when I do that. If I don't like it I can always change it
