You might as well while your here.....I can bet everyone sometime or another has heard that phrase. Well I got one for you, Its the Intake plenuim. SHoot if ya gunna be taking it all apart why not restore it.

In the upcoming months i too will be taken the huge weight of metal off and replacing the injectors and I thought I would include my Plan if anybody might appriciate the tip.

Things to replace while in a "You might as well while your here..." situation.

-Intake bolts
-Plenium gaskets/O-rings/Wirelooms-heatshield
-Fuel pressure regulator adj.
-Injectors Venom 19Lbs. an hour
-EGR valve,
-EGR temp sensor,
-egr solenoid
-thermostat 175*
-MAT Sensor Relocation to the airduct
-Throttle body Coolant Bypass
-Recondition the throttle body
-new tps
-Cold start injector
-cold start switch
-Coolant dash sensor
-Coolant sensor
-Pcv
--Acetone the plenium

-----------------------------
EXTRA MILE

-Port and polish plenium
-Polish the plenium and order the alumiunm Distr. cover and polish that too.
-New Edlebrock Manifold and Heat sink runners.

Hope any of this makes sense.

doing somthing similar right now. on the MPFI v6 you must pull the upper/lower intake to get the valve covers off.

while your in there you might as well replace:
thermostat, vaccume lines, non-stud valve coverbolts for ease of future access, clean out the TB, clean the IAC, replace all the vaccume lines, remove the AIR injection tubes from the back of the block, fuel injector o-rings....

i am on day three. and i just broke my distributor cap... so i am stuck until monday before i can put it all back together.
