Need help identifying the plastic boots/gliders on rear hatch latch assy
Hey guys I'm rebuilding my rear hatch latch assembly, and when I took off the old one the white plastic boots, gliders, whatever you call them that are greased up and slide up and down the adjustment bracket, well they just disintegrated when I slid it off. Not sure if each side had one piece that was tabbed together of if it is four seperate pieces.
My local GM Dealership parts guy was unable to identify them properly (act surprised why don't you, heh). What he did order me wasn't even close, though at least it was only $1.67, d'oh.
If you know even what they are properly called that would be a start. The part number would be a blessing. If you actually have some laying around I'd be in your debt.
Nothing ever goes the way you planned, you can plan on it!
(just thought that up, think I am going to coin it!)
