It Lives !!!!
So I bought a '85 Z28 a few weeks ago for $900 and was soo excited about it since this is my first camaro and I've wanted one of these for so many years but I was alwasy drawn to the imports. So I picked up the car and boy did it sound rough, it was blowing crap out of the exhaust the headliner was 1/2 off there is alot of rust in the engine and some panles but not to much overall all. Oh and boy did the interior stink BLAH. The car sat for about 8 years and due to this the brakes were totally shot. Overall a great restoration project for me and my father.
So today we order a new exhaust an entire brake system (Lines, hoses, calipers, pads, etc...), new altenator, radiator hoses. and after cutting off the old exhaust and reinstalling the radiator and jumping the car it runs GREAT. The choke needs some adjusting but its not to bad, we thing the starter is bad but i'm not to sure yet. Some lights need to be replaced and I need a new hood, but overall shes in good running condition and I can't wait to get this thing on the road next month when all the work that is needed to get it road wether is done.
So begins my 1st restoration project and I can tell you that within the next 3-4 years this monster is gonna be 1 major firebreathing monster mwhahaha.
Future projects for the car include and is not limited to:
12 Bolt Rear End
New Transmission
Centerline Rims
Fiberglass Daytona Hood
Full Fiberglass front end
Fiberglass Hatch
Beatiful Metallic Black paint job
350 Engine that I'm going to start buidling next year and plan on finish in 2 years after the car passes its last emissions test.
When all said and done I'm hoping for around 500HP out of this thing and I'm defiantly going to be tearing up the Drag Strip when I'm done with this thing.
I'll post pictures as my Project continues and the magic of another rescued F-Body appears before us all

I'm 25 so yep I'm still young for a few more years. As for Honda then can just send all there cars to the junkyard, I can't stand Honda's, I actually drove a Hyundai Tiuro for the past 5 years.
As for the Camaro, I got a new Altenator, and battery on last night so now it starts up with no problems. I still have the brake system to do but I have to wait to get the lines and hoses in hopefully for next weekend. I also have the exhaust but that was giving me issues because I don't have enough clearenace under the car when I had it up on the jack, so that may have to wait till I get it to a shop. I got a few pictures I'm gonna put up later today.

So today I got the seats back in and now the dash is 1/2 way out so i can replace all the lights and the speakers and aslo my water gauge which is broke. I got the exhaust intoday and now the car starts up and runs pretty nicely for now. Waiting for my Brake lines to come in this week along with my new brake hoses. I also put another hood on the car since my other one was completley rusted out. More pictures coming tommorow.
