Hi all--

Does anyone know how to remove the trim panel above the hush panel and below the "glove box pouch" on an 82 Firebird? I'm trying to replace my ESC Controller, and can get the panel almost all of the way off, but it's secured on the left by something. Ive taken off the passenger side hush panel, but don't know how to remove the remaining screw.

 

I have an 84, and that panel you are talking about just snaps off on mine. Is this the panel you are talking about?:

Yes, that's the panel. I guess it just snaps on. Most of it came off except the left-most portion, but I didn't want to pull too hard in case I broke it. I'll try again.

 

its very easy, it will come right off if all the screws are removed, not difficult at all, it was simple in my 82 t/a when i removed the computer and entire harness, and ive had alot of other third gens apart too over the years
