In 1991 can you tell me what the RPO is for the Z28. Did any 1991 Z28/RS come with 4 wheel disc,t-tops,305 TPI and 5 speed. What is the RPO for the RS. I ask because I'm looking at a roller that the kid says its a Z28 no motor or trans but he has TPI 305 and a BW 5 speed that he says was in the car. The rear deck lid doesn't have the tall ferrari style spoiler on it that the Z28 had in 1991. Thanks Guys!

 

on my 92 it has Z28 in the RPO codes also has the hood louvers too.. also the 5 speed was only availible with a 305 also the 305 was t tops there arre no 350 cars with fatory t tops also no 5 speeds with 350's

 

In 1991 there was no RPO code for RS. RS was a model. Either RS coupe or RS convertable. Z28 was the only other model, either coupe or convertable. The same with the earlier third gens. The Z28 RPO code is in the Z28's SPID to designate the performance package. All Z28's should have this RPO. In 1967, the Z28 RPO code was started, but the car was not a model designation. Sometime during the 1968 production, the Z28 badge was added because people were calling them "Z28's". Then Z28 was added to the model lineup. The B4C police package was available only with the RS model. Those would have the Z28 RPO on the SPID with the RS badging.
