Emblem Question
I have a quick question about the IROC-Z emblems. I plan on getting My 86 Iroc painted soon, but instead of using the gold lettering and gold emblems I want to go with silver lettering and emblems. I never really noticed before that my rocker panel and rear bumper had the Z28 emblems, instead of the Iroc-Z emblems. So were 87-90 the only Iroc’s to get the Iroc-Z emblems? I was looking at buy a set of blk/silver IROC-Z emblems on ebay, but if those style of emblems weren’t on the 86's then I wouldn't want them on there.

sorry bud the 86 only offered the Z28 on the sides and rear no IROC until 87
85-87 Irocs were "technically" Z28's, with the "Iroc" option. For 88-90, there was no Z28's at all, and the Iroc became it's own model. Hence the change in badges.
