Parts are getting scarce, and worse yet any car you find in the salvage yards is going to be 15+ years old, and probably has the same wear and tear as the car you're working with.

Check your local phone book, join a car club and ask around, try www.car-part.com, etc. For little stuff, hit your local dealer. Most of the small parts are still available. Get a Classic Industries catalog. Most of the OEM parts in the catalog can still be had at the dealer, and usually for the same or a lower cost.

I am in middle Georgia depending on what you are looking for there are tons of 3rd gens here, shipping isnt bad though. There are 5X as many 1st and 2nd gens here. If anyone is looking for 1st or 2nd gens let me know. Or a part list for a 3rd.

Try Barry's in gulfport. Exit 31 off i-10. Very cheep and they have half a dozen 3rd gen firebirds. I found an 84 T/A hood for 32.99 but some sob bent it before I could go back and get it. It's a U-pull it.
