Welcome to TGO Mike. You'll find a lot of good people and info here(members Okfoz,Wildjeff and 1982TA come to mind in your situation).
David is correct in the PMD was an interior trim option based on the seats(my gues on PMD = Pontiac Motor Division). The seats are themselves are very popular.Do a search in the historical Section and you'll find many posts not just on the seats but on how to decode the trim tag on the radiator support and what else to look for.1982 model F-bodies have a lot of unique items that aren't shared with other years(even with '83).Good luck with your purchase and please post some pictures of her.

Re: Quick question??????
depends on what you are looking for... aftermarket parts are hit or miss, and if you are looking for the '82 specific parts, alot of them you will have to goto the junkyard to find or ebay.

Re: Quick question??????
As coolram62 stated, PMD = Pontiac Motor Division, they are the seats that came with RPO B20, Luxury trim group. There was no 82 T/A PMD as such but people call them PMD seats because the PMD badge on the seat. I think they are the most comfortable seats but that’s my opinion. and yah, if you get pics post them!
