Something to go with my IROC
The other day, while searching for NOS parts for my '88, I came across a set of 1988 factory service manuals. Ended up getting them for just shy of $50 shipped. Got here yesterday and they are in very nice condition, a little worn around a couple edges but nothing too bad...

Hopefully this will aid me in my restoration of my '88

I agree 100% they will be very helpful. And a good price for both of them.I have the one for my '83 Z28.I haven't sen a separate Electrical Diagnostic manual for '83 as it seems all of it is in one(my '73 C10 CST is all in one). But my '95 Jimmy there are 4 books and I had been missing the Driveability manual until recently.I found it and the Haynes manual have a difference of opinion on a couple issues I've been having(on my Jimmy).

Yeah I become good friends with FSMs. I have a '87 Subaru GL coupe that I've built from the ground up and the only things left stock on it are the body and some of the interior. I bought the car for $100 and it came with 5 of the 6 sections of the FSMs. I also have a FSM for my '78 Subaru Brat and section 6 of the FSM for an '87 Subaru XT.
I've found its better to spend the extra bit of money on an actual FSM then a Haynes or a Chiltons manual since I like stuff to be explained in depth when I go tearing into it. If you need FSMs for any vehicle, check out www.books4cars.com. Thats where I got the last section of my '87 Subaru FSM from when I couldn't find it on ebay or any message board forums.
