TBI & Z28 Question
Did the 92 Z28's ever come with the TBI 305's? I looked in the data section & it says no but im going to go look at a 92 that the owner swears is origional.

z28's no, but RS's did, the guy probaly doesnt know what he has I've talked to tons of people about cars for sale, and their like .......TPI whats that lol

Look at the eighth digit of the VIN(indicates engine)for a '92(VIN tenth digit N) Z28 should be either a F(LB9 TPI 305)or 8(B2L/L98 TPI 350).If it's an E(LO3 TBI 305)she's a RS.

Visually, the TPI and TBI engines are incredibly easy to tell apart, but as 92RS(real slow) mentioned, some people have no idea what they're talking about.

Well i checked her out and it was a RS that has had Z28 badges applied to her.
