Just got a 85 Z28
Trying to get alittle information about my newly aquired Camaro. I'm alittle confused about somethings in the car.
It has a Monte Carlo style aluminum wheels on it. Though from all of the pictures I've looked at they are looking more and more factory.
Has T-Tops
It has these vynal(sp) bucket seats. They don't have a raise-able/detachable headrest. This is kinda weird to me as I have never seen seats like that before in a 3rd gen camaro. Though I haven't really looked at that many.
The dash pad is mint, No cracks. Also there is an Emblem on the dash the says its a Z28 IROC. The guy I got it from said he did some research and concluded that it wasn't a real IROC. I'm starting to think Otherwise. Though someone could have switched the dash out. I just don't know though.
My plans for this car is to put a TPI in it (I have one lying around) and fix any other problems with it.
I don't really know much about it yet (Engine codes and other stuff) I've only had it for around a half of a day.
I'm really just trying to find out if it is an actual IROC or not.

The dash emblem simply snaps in place. If the SPID label is still in the console, look for code B4Z. Also check too see if the VIN on the label matches the VIN of the car though.
Also, judging by your name, I take it you have a K5 Blazer?

Yup, I have a 1975 Chevrolet Blazer. I've had it since I turned 17. Though I'm only 25 now. This was the first thing I bought with out anyones help. Its lifted.
