thanks buddy didn't know that, still seems wasteful if you can just get the bushing, guess I'll just buy a new motor.
still input is appreciated

The replacement motors are designed differently. They work the same but look different. I bought one but can’t use it because I’m restoring my car and it’s got to look right. But if you just need on to work, they are available.

Yes you can get a bushing, no you cant get a part number. Locally we have a company that rebuilds starters, altinators, blower motors etc and they have a shelf of stuff like that. Look it up in your phone book, or start calling around. Your not going o get it from AutoZone, they want to sell you a rebuilt motor.

Re: Can I buy this bushing
junkyard 5 bucks and most other years makes and models with a/c are the same one
billions of them out there
i never buy a new one
they last for so long its not worth buying a new one
in which will most likely be inferior quality compared to a factory one anyways
even an 80s truck one would be the same
