83Z T Tops ???

i recently bought an 83z for parts . no eng. , tranny , few other things stripped . anyway while checking t tops i noticed it did not have the sliding rods to secure it to car . instead it had small hooks on front & rear of tops . have checked with other owners ( c&c owner included ) and no one has ever heard or seen such a critter . has anyone on the forum ever seen them . any info. would be great . i'm not really trying to advertise but they are oddball items , and if anyone needs them p.m. me . also tell me about them . car will be going to crusher after i finish stripping .

Re: 83Z T Tops ???

82 and 83 (possibly some of 84) had hook style ends. In 84 (my berly applys) to i think 90 they used a large pin style, then 90ish to 92 they used a smaller pin. Not "rare", but non-the-less if in good condition worth it to a restorer. I'm more than sure if you did a search in the red tool bar above for say "hook t-top" or a variation you should come back with a much bigger result/answers.

Yes 82-83 are hook style. 84-93 are pin style (small-large).

I am in the process of trying to get T-Tops for my 1984 TA. I need the pin style and right the car has hook style. Please check out this great website for T-tops:
