What should I be looking for when hunting for a T/A
I'm looking for an early 3rd Gen Trans Am. I'm new to the game and wondering if there are any common issues or problems that I should be keeping my eye out for when I'm hunting for my "new toy".
I'm not a mechanic by any stretch, but I'm more than willing to learn.

Well first we need a bit more information.
Where are you located? (This does make a difference with regard to Rust and Rot).
What are you looking for? A project car to restore? A low mileage "perfect" car? Or a nice driver?
Problems can vary between a 10k mile garaged car and a 100k mile one that has had its wheels driven off.

I'm in Central Saskatchewan, so rust and rot really shouldn't be huge issues...I think. I'm looking for a nice driver with most of the bugs worked out, but of course will require maintenance (I realize that I am looking for a 20+ year old car of course). Most of the cars that I have been looking at have been garaged, and are floating around the 150 to 180k range.
