Different two-tone?
I bought my car recently ( for $200), and the paint is horibble. It's an 86 left out in the sun for 10 years, nuff said.
Anyway, it's 2 tone, dark red metallic on silver, and the silver starts midway down the car. I haven't seen another one like this, and I'm just wondering how common it is. I'm going to have it repainted stock, I really like it.
Any info? (I don't even want to take pics, the paint is so bad, but if I need to, I will)

Last paint job might have been a $99.99 "special". Silver starts mid door??? Find your orig paint code on the tag under the hood near the hood latch. Maybe a Z28, made a ton that year if I remember right? I'm a fan of two tones since more of our cars are a single solid color I imagine.

I forgot to mention it's a firebird. I'd be surprised if it was aftermarket, since this car appears bone stock. It has a 1 inch wide (or so) pinstripe down the side also. The silver is continued on the door jambs as well. I guess I'll suck it up and get some pictures.
