85 IROC L69 Value?

i was hoping somebody can help me. there is a black non t tops 1985 camaro iroc z28 for sale down the road from me, it has the H.O L69 5 spd and it has the ls contour seats that say camaro on the doors and seats , theres a little bit of rust,missing headliner, needs some trim peices, and a few other little things. i was wondering what a good price would be to offer him and what its worth and if there hard to find. thanks

I moved this because it is better served in a new thread...
As for performance engines the L69 was only available with the M5 (5 Speed) in 1985. To some this would make it more desirable than the LB9 because it has only the A4 (Auto) trans in 1985. Those seats if in GOOD condition are really sought after. The material is no longer available.
You hit on something, RUST, if its visible then its also hidden, I would really check the Floor pans and the under side of the car for hidden rust as my thought is "It is better to not buy than to buy a rusty car" Once rust invades it IS IMPOSSIBLE to complete eradicate it. The up side it is "uncommon" as there were 2,497 of them made...
Price, depending on the amount of Rust, milage, condition I would think around $1500 - $3000 considering the number of missing parts, the price of a new paintjob, Get pictures and post them... If you have questions on how to post pictures you have to click on "Go advanced" first...
