what is this

i have a 1983 camaro w a 2.8 and an auto tranny and when i got the car it had no badges of any kind and i want to know what i have the only thing i can cay is it has three rectangular cut outs in the "nose" can any one help

i dont like the guage cluster and i want to install another complete set up will i have to modify anything

If your car has yellow front parking lights than it's probably a coupe - If it has clear front parking lights it's probably a Berlinetta. If your car uses a "dummy light" cluster than you will need to add the correct sending units to your engine in order for a gauge cluster to be installed and work properly. If your car has a guage gluster than:

You can use any complete cluster from 82-84 with NO issues.

You can use any complete cluster from 85-89 - but your E-Barke light will not work. and there will be no working "CHOKE" warning light.

You can remove all/each of the gauges from an 85-89 cluster, place them into your 1983 cluster and everything will work fine.
