I just noticed that my door key does not work when it comes to locking the t tops on my 87. The previous owner probably put a different set of t-tops on this car when he was restoring it. What can be done about this besides the obvious of getting a key made? Is this possible?

 

You can have a good locksmith recode your locks in your T-tops to match the door keys. He might have to order some blank tumblers, but it can be done by a locksmith that knows what he is doing.

 

Hmm I have a good buddy that is a locksmith. I will give him a call and ask him if he can do anything for me.
