I found this old tread and I am confused. was the G92 3.42 or 3.73 for 1985? If you have a 1985 camaro with G92 on your spid could you post a photo of it.https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...5-z28-w-t.html

From what I've seen on some 1985 IROC's and Z28's the G92 option was the 3.73 gear. I've seen this on LG4 cars with J65 rear discs or J42 alum drum brakes and the M39 5spd man trans.

IT would depend on your car.

The LB9 standard axel I thought was the 3.23 or 3.27, and the Performance gear was the 3.42 or 3.45.

I had an 85 Z28, 305 TPI, with a ten bolt 3.23, no posi. no G92. I don't think that G92 was used in 85. Could be wrong though...

G92 in 1985, there were something like 205... I forget the exact number, but it is in the 200 range.

Does it have the option G92 on your spid? If so could you post a picture of it?
