in a junkyard i found a late 80s possible early 90s firebird/ta not cant remember what exactly

but the dash is red. and looks stock

so far i have only see black or dark gray dashes

the gauge trim is still gray in this car and the dash pad is still black but the lower dash trim and everything else is red

when was this offered and is it rare enough to snag and hold onto?

 

Yes, other colors were offered. I have had red and blue. I guess you could say they are rare but it's not something worth any extra money that would be worth pulling out and saving.

The lower part of the dash and center console('82-84) were color keyed to the interior color on base Firebirds and S/Es. I think they went to a black/gray dash on all cars when the air bag system came out in 1990.
