PONTIAC IS DEAD. GM announced they were phasing out the brand today.

I think it was a real stupid move on their part to kill their third best selling brand. It out sold all but Chevy and GMC. I would have killed Buick or at least combined GMC and Chevy Trucks and eliminated one line of trucks or the other.

The fact that it was the third best brand in GM shows that there is definitely a market for Pontiac. Not to mention its history. The only reason why they kept Buick is because it is "resurgent" in the US. And people in China are buying Buicks like crazy. SHOULD HAVE KILLED BUICK! THERE IS NOTHING NOTEWORTHY ABOUT THE BRAND!!!
