casting number help

casting number help
i need help to find out what year this motor i just got is. i pulled it out of a truck but is not the origanal motor. I would like to order and replace gaskets and water pump but need the year.
by the timing chain= V0518TPR
at the rear of block=397001 last number think is a 6 or 8 the casting looked like it didnt mold right any help would be great.

and save the sites - you can pass them on.
i took that off a site i posted them on a few hours back.
and if you look at the bright red line at the top of the page - and move your hand all the way to the right then move it to the left - that is the opposite of right - 3 big words - you will see a word you probably have not seen before - it says SEARCH. try using it.
then there is a different word, its not on the page but its called GOOGLE - and put in your number and first use the 6 as the last digit and if that does not work, try the 8. but the 6 will work if you try it and your answer will be right in front of your eyes.

thanks for your help.
after some searching and searching and searched some more there are no casting that end in 6 or 8 so that leaves me to believe you are right. and after double checking some one elses help they can not read lol the suffix is TDR not TPR so that is the reason i could not find any think and asked for help. so after having the right information it is a 72 motor.
