so i just bought a 1989 firebird formula with a 305 and a two tone paint job and i have no build sheet cause interior was replaced and i was just wondering were i could get the stripe for the bottom i called phoenix grpahics and ordered the decals but they said that they didnt have a stripe for it. Then i called are local gm dealer and he told me that these cars were not two tone and did not have a stripe so i'm kinda of at a lost here. any helped would be greatly appreciated.

They did have a stripe, just like the one on your car....
There were Two options for the D98 Stripe... on the Firebird & the Formula

Contact PhoenixGraphics and ask them to produce the correct stripe for you. They may not be aware that they are missing this detail.
The strip from PhoenixGraphics is correct it is shown installed backward of or cars and will work installed as we would need them and you can order it sepperate for $109 .Then order the Formula kit to get all the Formula graphics .
ye i had noticed the 86 trans am stripe on phoenix graphics so i guess il go with that one since it is the closest
