My wheels have the common problem with the clear coat peeling, plus where the dealer had originally installed the wheel weights.
Anyway, I like the factory wheel and the grey color in the inserts. Does anyone know who is good person to restore the 3rd gen wheels? Or does everyone just head to the local bodyshop?

Why is that when people refinish the wheels they never re-clearcoat them it seems?

I have found that if you use a good coat of wax and maintain it you don't need to apply the clear coat.
