a couple years ago i had an 84 z28 it was silver but had 2 parrelel pinstripes down the side, it started at the top of the fender continued straight hit the door/mirror, made a z pattern, ran back to the spoiler straight then dropped off parrlelel to the spoiler sides, is that factory or custom and the 2nd question is when our third gens were new where did the dealer put its logo
Re: 2 questions
All pinstriping is a dealer add on. The factory did not pinstripe cars. The dealer logos that I have seen were mostly plastic license plate frames. Some dealers did use a hard plastic logo and would stick them on the driver side rear bumper cover. Because they were plastic and not a decal, they were easily removed. By the late 80s and early 90s, I think the license plate frame was mostly used because the dealers found that the vinyl decal was cheaper than the plastic one, but there wasn't really a good place to put it. The smaller logos went under the Tuned Port Injection emblem area.

Re: 2 questions
I still have my dealer sticker on the my 84 TA and its still somewhat legible. The location of it is on the drivers side at the back of the car on the W62 Aero package. So maybe it was in different places depending on dealership. You can see what is left of it on the silver part in this photo. It has an oval shape and it says Cerami on it. Which was the original dealership it was shipped to.
